Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, write and communicate proficiently in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of school and community programs, organizations, services, and resources
• Understanding and sensitivity for diverse cultural, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds of students
• Ability to form effective, constructive relationships with parents and division personnel
• Ability to take initiative in coordinating and organizing activities and events
• Ability to accurately collect, organize and maintain data and information for reports
• Experience and/or coursework in social work, global studies, education, or related field highly desired
• Demonstrated professional experience working with community-based outreach programs, schools and/or non-profits is preferred

Salary:

Parent Liaison Grade C19b Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment:
Full time / 10 months / 205 days
