Qualifications:

• High school graduate/GED and/or completion of a vocational course or any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
•  Three years experience as a helper in the appropriate trade preferred
• A valid CDL Virginia driver’s license with air brake endorsement preferred
• A journeyman’s license for trade designation from the Commonwealth of Virginia preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standard practices and terminology within the trades of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC; skill in the use of appropriate tools; ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions; ability to work independently; dependable and thorough with all responsibilities.

Pay Rate:

Facilities Maintenance Salary Scale Grade-C11 (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment:
Full time / 12 months / 245 days
