Summary:

Primary responsibility is teaching Tech Ed at the high school level.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold or be eligible for a teaching license with a CTE-Tech Education endorsement or be eligible for a Technical Professional License.

Individuals with no prior teaching experience who do not hold a Virginia teaching license will be considered if the following requirements for a Technical Professional teaching license have been met:

• Evidence of at least 2 years of successful full-time or equivalent tech ed experience within the past 5 years
• Completion of an tech ed education certificate or associate degree program from a regionally accredited institution

Pay Rate:

Teacher Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)
