Summary:

Primary responsibility is working with both licensed and classified colleagues.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in a middle school or secondary endorsement as well as an Administration and Supervision endorsement.

Three years of successful teaching experience in the state of Virginia in grades 6-8.
Leadership qualities and skill in presenting to and working with both licensed and classified colleagues.
Continuous and recent professional learning directly related to the content area, methodology, and Virginia Standards of Learning.
Ability to plan and implement instructional programs as appropriate to meet individual needs.
Ability to make formal and informal assessments of student performance and prepare reports.

Pay Rate:

Teacher Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

This position will also receive $1,435 per year for the lead teacher stipend.

Full time / 10 months / 210 days
