Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Professional Certificate in Administration and Supervision PreK-12
- Master's Degree required
- Minimum of five years of recent successful experience as a public school administrator
- Leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with all categories of employees and the public
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate expertise and maintain competence in the area of assignment to the division’s strategic plan.
- Attend and provide support related to student support services for discipline hearings.
- Attend and consult with combined administrative team meetings.
- Consult and troubleshoot with building level administrators on the best course of action for challenging and complex situations related to student support services.
- Consult with Student Support Specialists on Family Assessment and Planning Team Process.
- Coordinate health assessments and health care services for the division with the Coordinator of Health Services.
- Coordinate Substance Abuse Education, Psychosexual Evaluation
- Develop, implement, and monitor homebound instruction services to students that doctors declare to be temporarily unable to attend school as a result of medical or emotional illness.
- Provide support and management of required procedures to parents in the division who qualify to home instruct their children.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports programs for the division.
- Develop, implement, and monitor support services for guidance, counseling, and career education of the division.
- Consult with students, parents, and administrators for Behavioral Threat Assessment Case Management.
- Monitor the implementation of the attendance policy and related regulations and procedures.
- Monitor and provide guidance related to safety alerts from students’ 1:1 devices.
- Provide services to prevent and address dropout cases.
- Provide guidance and leadership to the Bright Futures Program.
- Provide guidance and leadership to Student Support Specialists.
- Represent the division on various community agency boards and committees.
- Serve as an investigator for Title IX and compliance cases.
- Provide oversight and guidance for grants.
- Other duties may be assigned through the immediate supervisor.
Pay Rate:
The salary range is $89,400-$150,824

Full time / 12 months / 245 days
